Legacy
If you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood in a setting teeming with wildlife amid mature trees, the Legacy Area is one you should consider. It abuts a preserve in the Zorinsky Lake Park which is the perfect habitat for numerous species of birds and other wildlife. Many trails meander through the park and community, and there is access to the walking/biking trail around Zorinsky Lake. This 255 acre lake is stocked with fish and is open to the public, while the Legacy Area has a smaller, private fishing lake.
Set back south and west of 168th and Center, the area is home to three residential developments. All homes are custom-built and are of unique styles. Prices range from $700,000 to over $3,000,000. Location, lot sizes, and amenities all effect value with location being the major factor. In this area, large lots with gated access, lake views and mature trees add much to the home site’s value.
Along the south side of Center Street west of 168th Street are the Shoppes of Legacy. Restaurants and bars are interspersed with retail and service centers, high-end boutiques, banks, and office buildings. A huge wellness center with facilities and programs for the entire family is one of the area’s most popular amenities.
On the north side of Center Street are the full service Lakeside Creighton Hospital and many other restaurants, offices, shops and stores, including a grocery store, a department store and a “big box” store. Convenience is everywhere!
Two popular suburban school districts—Millard and Elkhorn-- serve the area. Both rank high on test scores and have innovative programs which serve all pre-K through 12th grade students. Parochial schools, sports facilities, and a new YMCA are just a short drive away.
The Legacy Area offers privacy, lovely vistas, grand homes, convenience and friendly neighbors.
Plus, don’t forget trail walks with nature at its best!
